Because more and more people are viewing documents online, there is a definite need for a resume style that suits the medium.
Then you also need to consider that certain positions may call for a very specific resume style. So you’ll need to be adaptable. You’ll want to tweak your resume to suit each situation so that it showcases your relevant skills. That’s what a resume is for, after all: To show off your expertise.
The chronological style is by far the most popular resume format with both job seekers and potential employers. As the name implies, this resume lists all your previous jobs, starting with the most recent.
The functional style resume is a bit newer, but it’s steadily growing in popularity. Unlike the chronological style, you use this resume to list your very best accomplishments and qualifications first, followed by the just slightly less impressive ones. The all new bankruptcy law is even harsher than the old one, established in 1978. It tightens the requirements of those who are filing for bankruptcy and for the attorneys that are helping them do so.
The key changes implemented in the new bankruptcy law of today.
In order to make sure that only the most in need people qualify for bankruptcy, the government has created what they call the means test.
When you take the means test the government will calculate your monthly income minus a few allowed expenses. If it turns out that your monthly income is above the median income you will be obligated to file chapter 13 bankruptcy.
There are a series of strict guidelines set up by the IRS dedicated to your allowable expenses. For instance, you will be limited to 800 $ for all your housing costs each month and you will also be limited to 200 $ each month to pay for your food.
You must remember of course that in every state the laws do change so you must find out how your state laws affect you. You may be lucky and find that your state is a little more lenient than others or of course you may not.
You will have to attend a mandatory credit-counseling course that has to be approved by the IRS within 180 days of your filing for bankruptcy. This is not a free course. Instead it will cost you approximately $75.
With the new laws filing for bankruptcy has become even more paperwork driven! You will have to provide and fill out a whole load of forms in order to prove that you are worthy of bankruptcy.
The IRS will want to see among other things, a complete list of all of your secured and unsecured creditors, a list that details where all your income is coming from and where your expenses are coming from, a recent tax return and naturally your photo ID.
Thanks to the new law, you are going to have to pay a considerable amount more on your bankruptcy attorney. This is thanks to the fact that there is now a whole lot more work for your bankruptcy attorney to do.
How To Interpret The Bankruptcy Law
At the time of writing there is nothing in the bankruptcy law that states you must have a bankruptcy lawyer on your case. Nevertheless with the exception that you have studied the law, you really should use a bankruptcy lawyer, you will need his experience to make sure you get the best result out of your bankruptcy for yourself.

Many people have their own idea as to what colleges look for in potential students and how college admissions decide on who gets to attend their school. Colleges say that about 35 to 50% of their decision is based on your high school record. A few things that colleges say will influence their decision are what courses you took and how well you did in those courses.
They look to see if you improved academically during high school or if you let your grades slide a little during your senior year. And yes, they do look at the courses you took, whether or not they were challenging to you and how well you handled them.
They also claim that about 25 to 40% of their admissions decision is based on test scores. Both the ACT and SAT test are used to evaluate applicants, showing them how well you would handle problem solving, reading and other basic skills.
This is one reason why SAT test preparation is vital if you want to do well and improve your SAT test score.They will check out your activities and other accomplishments.
Colleges feel that if you were active in community services or took a leadership position in an activity, then it is likely you will continue to be active at college. College admissions also base anywhere from 5 to 20% of their decision on essays and recommendations.
College admissions may also look at essays and recommendations to learn things that SATS tests are not able to tell them. They want to know what is important to you and discover your greatest strengths and weaknesses.
Of course, to get into any college you need good marks and taking SAT preparation classes, along with practice SATs tests improves your chances of making a much higher grade. College admissions tell us that high GPA’s and good SAT scores will get a lot more attention than the average scores. Taking AP (advanced placement) courses shows them that you are serious about your education and that warrants extra attention.

One of the harder states in which to start a home school is California. Rumors have flown in the past that home schooling is illegal in California, but that is not the case. Home schooling is legal in California, however the requirements are a little bit on the strict side, depending on how one reads them.
In California, just like any other state in the United States of America, when homeschooling you are required to follow an accredited and recognized curriculum which can come from a public school, private school, or other accredited source.
Capability to Teach
There have also been some rumors about the fact that California home scholars should have a California teaching license in order to be considered a qualified teacher for the students that they are teaching.
This rumor is also not true, since the Californian law very simply states that any teacher participating in homeschooling must be capable of teaching. Of course it’s certainly can’t do any harm to get a certified Californian teaching license, but it is not legally required.
This particular part of the Californian law for home schooling is as you can see more than just vague, it pretty much leaves it up to your opinion as to what capable of teaching is.
In a privately run or a publicly run school it will be the people in charge of running the school who decide whether or not there teachers are capable of teaching, plus of course their initial certifications the teachers have already obtained to get their teaching job.
Obviously in the case of homeschooling things are different since normally the parent of the child is indeed the child’s teacher.
Setting up a home school in California
A good thing to do right away is to officially declare yourself a private school. Doing so will sort out a lot of questions early on, even if you only have one child to homeschool this is recommended.
One additional option open to you is to sign up your child or children at your local public school, but contrary to what other parents do, you will register for an independent study program that you yourself will implement with your child at home.
Regardless of what option you take, you shouldn’t really have too much of a problem setting up your home school in California.
A Tutor
A home school requires a tutor. In most cases, this tutor will be one of the parents in the home, but it could also be a third party who is hired by the family to be the tutor of the child or children.
As a parent you will not be required to be a certified teacher to homeschool your children, but it goes without saying that you should be above capable of teaching.
If on the other hand the tutor is someone hired outside of the family then in most cases parents want to see teaching certifications.
Setting up your homeschool in California is going to take a little work and implementing it, especially if you are the tutor, will definitely required dedication and planning, but the benefits it can bring to your child should make it all worthwhile.

It’s true; make it to your junior year of college and the hard part is over. It’s just a matter of time until you graduate.
In fact, get through your sophomore year successfully, and you’ll almost certainly return for your junior year, according to a large body of research.
It is the freshman year that students find most challenging, and it is the freshman year when they are most likely to drop out. It’s not too hard to figure out why. The first year of college is a time of transition and adjustment, and neither is easy. However, if students follow a few simple rules, they’ll be OK. Here are five.
1. Don’t cut classes. Missing classes is the single worst thing you can do.
2. Make a schedule for yourself and follow it religiously. Study time, study breaks, and adequate sleep time are especially important to schedule. Make adjustments as necessary, but stick to the times you set…it’s good insurance against slacking.
3. Don’t procrastinate. You’re not in high school anymore…catching up is very hard.
4. Don’t go crazy with your newly found freedom. If you drink excessively, burn the candle at both ends, and put play ahead of your assignments, your days in college will probably be numbered.
5. Become a part of the college community. Make new friends, join at least one campus organization, and spend most of your weekends on campus.
The five rules above aren’t very complicated. And, they shouldn’t be terribly hard to follow. Yet, if everyone adhered to them, the average six year college graduation rate in the United States would probably jump from its currently disappointing 55% to the 90% plus seen at some of our most selective institutions.

When I first started homeschooling, I decided not to buy a Writing Curriculum! Why? Because all the programs I reviewed were activities I could do on my own. I taught fifth grade for six years and most homeschool writing programs were like my public school writing curriculum, teaching students “what to write”.
Then I discovered Andrew Pudewa’s Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW). He has a terrific flagship product called Teaching Writing: Structure and Style. It is designed to teach students how to write, rather than focusing on choosing a topic. In the public school system, teachers and students brainstorm ideas together. Students select a topic and begin to write. Mr. Pudewa’s program, on the other hand, is designed so students learn how to write. It is an interesting approach, especially considering that most students agonize over selecting a topic.
Andrew Pudewa’s approach to writing is completely different. Rather than have students decide on the topic, he tells them what to write about. Using his lesson plans for writing process, students learn a variety of “structures”. These structures consist of outlines for various types of writings - essays, letters, and more. Students choose an appropriate outline depending on what kind of writing they are doing and the reasons for writing.
Teaching Writing goes beyond structure, teaching students how to develop their writing “style”; thus, the program name Teaching Writing: Structure and Style. Mr. Pudewa teaches students how to develop and vary their writing style. Students use strong action words and effective adjectives to create powerful sentences. Once students learn how to dress up their sentences, they learn various methods to open their sentences.

A credit report isn’t going to be cured or made better in any short amount of time. But if a borrower has the will to do so, they can get their credit back on track in as little as a year or two. Doing so is actually quite simple, as long as borrowers know the steps to follow.
It should be made clear that the only way to make things right again with the finance companies is to interact with them. Now given, they may be hesitant if you have a bad credit history, but this can be bypassed by offering collateral and showing good proof of earnings and responsibility. Obtaining a new loan and paying it off promptly within a year or two is the best way to get a start in improving a credit rating.
A simpler way to get better credit without having to have a normal credit score to begin with is to obtain a credit card. This option can be risky for those who are bad with credit cards, but it stands as one of the few options. Simply put charges such as gas or bills on the credit card, pay it off each month before interest rates come into effect, and repeat for a couple of years or more as necessary.
If one’s credit is already damaged and they need to improve their rating, one of the best things to do is to speak with the financial consultant at the bank they do business with. The best rates are usually going to come from a bank that knows the person- and their checking account. While this isn’t always true, the majority of cases will show that cheaper rates come through lenders the consumer does business with or has done business with.
Debt consolidation is another option that should be considered which can help one’s situation. This should certainly be explored before one decides to go for a bankruptcy option, since bankruptcy can ruin one’s credit rating for 10 years in total. In this time period, it’ll be tough to get any type of financing whatsoever.
Bankruptcy is such a big deal because it will render a borrower’s credit rating completely horrible for ten years. This should always be avoided because in this amount of time, one will probably need financing for things such as a car or a home. And because of the bankruptcy, it likely won’t happen without outrageous interest rates intact.
