Before, we thought that these numbers are only for business’ use but these numbers have been used for personal use and event the government is using it.
Toll free numbers were made to help business establishments with their targeted customers before but it has been realized that these numbers need not be under the control of businesses since its uses can be applied in many other different ways.
Now, not only business establishments and average individuals are making use of them, even the government is employing them in many different aspects and this is not applied by the US government alone, even other governments all through the world.
What number do we dial if we have emergencies like fire, car accidents, burglaries and the likes? Fortuitously, our respective governments have made tremendous efforts by providing us with a telephone number service that is easy to use and remember in case these kinds of emergencies come about.
Say for instance the 911 emergency phone line and its many counterparts throughout the world. Utterly, it has undeniably saved millions of lives all the way through just by just dialing 911, though, there are also a number of instances where the emergency phone line service has somewhat, dissatisfied individuals but these are only a few cases.
The most very important thing is that this emergency service has been made for one single purpose, and that is to help citizens in emergency cases. Why do you think we can still call 911 even if we already run out of our mobile phone credits? This is for the reason that 911 is a kind of toll free number wherein the government has invested large sums of dollars just to uphold safety in the entire society.
