Many of the questions we’ve seen on the Interviewing message board have shown some of our readers difficulties to get a search started when somebody’s leave job or lose a job. But I thought that this thing is useful for us to start at the beginning.
One thing is very clear about the work culture of the new millennium is that nearly all work is now short term, frequently even careers themselves. You have to prepare for change whether it suits your style or not. If we mention the current statistics so we can see that almost all say that the average job is only about three to four years now, but if we talk about 15 years ago when the average tenure of the job was 10 years.
It is good to understand in advance that there will be emotional ups and down, most importantly during the first few days of you’re joining. This journey will include depression, apathy, denial, anger, and then some more anger. Everyone goes through this stage to one degree or another, and I don’t believe that why people don’t believe this.
It is not good to call immediately to everyone you know and start sending out resumes, answering ads, and calling recruiters. Because most of the times chances are like that you’re not mentally prepared for the immediately start a search after a separation. Don’t do a job search “on the rebound.” you’ll probably say things that you will wish you hadn’t. It is good to share your true feelings with your loved once – maybe a significant other and/or a friend would be quite enough. You don’t want everyone to avoid you (”Uh oh, here comes the whiner…”). Now’s the time to adopt the marketing stance that your career – no matter how you perceive the reality – has been sunshine, light, and success. And you want everyone to know about those
Calling to everyone you know is NOT networking. Networking is a indirect relationship building, quite a different thing.
Develop a target. Years ago, in my private practice, I was deluged with people announcing, “I want to be in TV.” I never knew what does that meant…. did it mean television repair? Developing a target is the centerpiece of beginning your search. What is the job function- specifically? What is the desired culture? Geographic location? Size of organization? Do you want to start your own business? Consult? Do you have Dot-com-Virus? This may all involve some extensive self-assessment, with or without outside assistance – but it’s necessary.
And then, of course, you need to research your target
Stick to the marketing plan and stick to that. Work the system; there are no shortcuts, except for the occasional bolt of lightning. If you are discipline and consistent this thing account for a lot in this process.
It is good to be flexible. If you’re really listening while developing those relationships, your target might shift and adjust.
If you are creating daily structures and devise techniques for stress improvement then it is good because its not a terrible thing to do something that you enjoy during this period, something that you couldn’t do while working full time.
If you are loosing a job or leaving a job it doesn’t mean the stigma it used to, except in your own mind. Its part of the culture now which everyone has to face one day.

Organic baby clothes, at first glance, don’t seem to be anything more than a luxury for well-endowed families. However, organic baby clothes are actually necessary to keep a baby safe from the dyes, pesticides, and other chemicals that you would find in clothing stores.
Sometimes you may find that your baby gets a rash, for seemingly no reason at all. The first few times this happens, you might be extremely alarmed as a new parent. You have every right to be. Some clothes will irritate the baby’s skin to the point where it breaks out in a rash. Organic baby clothes are free of pesticides that are the common culprit, and won’t cause rashes as a result.
Even if the baby clothing you buy doesn’t have harmful pesticides, it is likely using a dye that is derived from a chemical. Organic baby clothing uses natural dyes that come from natural resources. Therefore, organic baby clothing is safe to use if you suspect your baby of having an allergic reaction to the dye that is in your baby’s clothing.
The scary part about the ordeal with pesticides is that the chemicals can very well be carcinogens. Carcinogens are substances that have been known to cause cancer. Studies show that even mild exposure to pesticides at an early age will result in a greater chance at developing defects such as cancer. Concerned parents should make the switch to organic baby clothing to prevent taking a risk with the possibility of carcinogens and pesticides.
Some harmful chemicals that, if present in the baby clothing, can be washed out. The sad news is that petroleum products in the clothing won’t come out in a single wash, and sometimes not in multiple washes. Petroleum products stay within the cotton and other materials for many washes, leaving your baby unprotected against irritants. Buying organic baby clothing is the best solution to solving the problem, as they will not contain hard to remove substances that are based from petroleum.
Buying an organic product is good for two reasons. First, it helps the consumer to gain some sort of benefit from the product. Secondly, it also helps save the environment by not using harmful chemicals in the product. After manufacturing the clothes made with chemicals, it’s possible for chemicals to spill off into water sources. This is just one example of how factories do a lot more damage than what was previously thought to young children and to the environment.
Final Thoughts
Organic baby clothing can be found on the Internet if you are having a tough time locating affordable baby clothing. There are plenty of options in style, and there are even designer brands that specialize in organic baby clothing for chic children.

You can also enjoy “O” by Cirque du Soleil, gamble in the fabulous casino, of dine in five star restaurants like Circo and Jasmine. The Bellagio is easily on of the greatest Las Vegas attractions.
The Mirage is world renowned because of it’s attractions outside. From 8pm until midnight, the Mirage volcano erupts outside. Once inside you can enjoy dining, shopping, and gambling. You can also take in the gorgeous rainforest garden with a 90-foot high atrium ceiling and waterfalss. At the front desk is a 20,000 gallon saltwater tank. I’ve always been big on the idea of making the most of my time. While I genuinely do enjoy my work, I value my free time even more. After all, I work so hard in order to enjoy the lifestyle that I desire.
As a result, it’s critical that I’m entirely focused through the course of a work day. With so many distractions running rampant, it’s really easy to get thrown off track.
I’m going to share a few tips with you that I’ve developed as far as strategies go. These all help me stay completely attuned to my work, as once you develop these habits they’ll be a lot easier to keep in place.
People seldom realize how important it is to get a good night’s sleep. This one thing alone can up your productivity by more than you ever imagined if you’re getting an ample amount of sleep. On the same note, not getting enough of it can ruin a day’s work.
Everyone needs different amounts of sleep. Some need seven or eight hours, while others can function on six. Know your threshold and stay true to it.
Another important thing to do is to get some consistent exercise into your day. In doing this, you’ll be much more relaxed and your mind will be more focused.
In addition to that, it’ll give you more energy to endure through a day’s worth of hard work. Lastly, it helps you to sleep better at night, which in turn will lead to more productive days.
The final thing that I do is something I’d definitely recommend doing if you don’t. Listen to music through the day. Don’t watch TV and don’t listen to talk radio, as both of these will leave you paying attention to the words, and not to your work. Music will keep you grounded and focused.

Credit cards and debt are sure to not excite anyone- but they are often necessary. Some are in the unfortunate position of not being able to obtain one. One new type of credit credit card, the instant approval credit card, seeks to give consumers an easier, faster, and more convenient way of getting approved.
The approval process for an instant approval credit card, surprisingly, isn’t going to be as simple as the title would imply. Indeed, you will have to pass some basic financial requirements, such as having a fair credit score, before being pre-approved. It does sound a bit ironic, but the instant approval process is used to draw in attention more than offer a guarantee.
Guarantors are necessary for those who apply with bad credit. Bad credit isn’t a problem if another person co-signs their duty to your name. Usually this is going to be a family member, significant other, or extremely close friend. This is because if you default on payments, the guarantor will have to take full responsibility of the debts that are owed on the credit card for the allotted time.
An instant credit card offer seems like a perk in itself- but also work towards obtaining other common perks that come with credit cards. Even if you have bad credit, you can still apply for extras such as rewards programs, special interest rates, or special payment options. The credit card you obtain will be a long term part of your life, so be sure you are going to be happy with using it.
When you apply for credit offers online, you will be supplying information that can put you in dangerous territory. Things such as your social security number, something you should never give out in public or to strangers, will be required to verify your identity. Also be careful of which services you use, since some services may have rules that allow them to sell information about their visitors. Read up on the privacy policy to stay safe.
It’s never too late to start building your credit. If you are denied an instant approval credit card, and have no co-signer available, the only way to go from this point is to build your credit. It can take as much as a year or two to rebuild your credit, and this assumes that you do well and do not err on your financial endeavors. Obtain a free credit report online to see where you stand, and if a pre-approval credit card is in your grasp.
Final Thoughts
Accidents happen, but those which involve debt can often be avoided. Be very careful in knowing what your terms of credit are, when you should use your credit card, and always make sure you can pay off all debts before you proceed with using it.

We are all so used to associating large wall clocks with the analog version. However, these days digital wall clocks are starting to make their marks everywhere you go.
When I returned to my high school this past summer, I was shocked to see that they all now had digital clocks instead of analog clocks. The slick look surprised me, but I must say I like it.
After seeing the digital clocks, I was surprised just how many are out there and available already. You can get one for any occasion, and they can multi-task as well if you need it to.
Digital wall clocks usually mean they are atomic clocks as well. Atomic clocks keep their time synced with the most accurate clock in the world, the NIST atomic clock.
The whole atomic clock deal might not mean much to you, but it comes in handy for those looking for a reliable and accurate clock every day.
Outdoor weather conditions can also be monitored with the atomic wall clocks as well. This will really help you pick out your clothing before leaving the house each day.
Along with outdoor weather, some will tell you the temperature inside your house, the phase of the moon and even give you a radio. These clocks come in all shapes and sizes as well.
These clocks do a lot of things, but fortunately they are also pretty cheap. A solid one can be bought for as little as 20 dollars, while a fancy one is a couple hundred at most.
Regardless of your decision, you will find all your options online. Go online and find the one that fits your style the best.

Losing weight can be as difficult psychologically as it is physically. It can become a struggle if we have to make family meals; eating our own meagre diet whilst still having to prepare tempting fare for the others. How can we improve our lot, and continue to please the family?
Let’s start with portion sizes – whatever’s on our plate, if we want to lose weight we should eat less. So find yourself a plate that’s about two-thirds the normal size. You won’t feel so deprived, because you can still fill the plate when you serve up. Wait until the rest of your family or friends have started eating before you start. Then slowly savour every mouthful you take. (Not only will this prevent you from finishing much sooner than the rest, it will also leave you feeling more replete.)
Most family meals can be eaten when you’re dieting, if you restrict the amount of fat and carbohydrate on your plate. Make up for it with lots of vegetables. And avoid the temptation of crusty bread! For seconds, think carefully before you indulge yourself. A small baked apple is fine – simply leave out the custard or cream.
But you can get much cannier than that. Serve reduced calorie meals a couple of times a week to everyone – if they’re done well they won’t have a clue! Add garlic and herbs to macaroni, and bulk it out with plenty of veg. Then use a tin of tomatoes to enrich the sauce. Leave out the oil, but maybe add a touch of Greek yoghurt for creaminess.
Pick your meat and dairy items carefully when you shop. There can be a big difference in the calorific value of different beef products for example. The rest of your family will profit from less saturated fat, even if they don’t have weight issues. For a low-cal high-protein meal, serve turkey or chicken and stick to the skinless breast for yourself. Potatoes can be nice and filling for slimmers – just buy ones with a creamy texture. You won’t need to add butter before serving then.
Watch out for breakfast cereals – some are loaded with sugar so always read the ingredients before buying. Cereal bars are best avoided too – they look like a healthy snack, but most are incredibly sweet. We also probably consume a load of hidden calories in our drinks. Choose sodas with artificial sweeteners, and make them last longer than usual by adding ice.
Alcohol contains a lot of calories, so when you’re socialising it’s good to find some alternatives. Try drinking tomato juice with ice or spring water. Watered down apple juice makes a passable wine lookalike if you don’t want to be different from the crowd.
It’s obvious that we’re not going to lose weight if we continue as we are. But it’s amazing how a small shift here and there can dramatically help along the way.

Bad credit is something that most of us have to deal with today. At some point in life you may end up running into some trouble that requires some extra money. Those who have bad credit scores are now able to get the cash that they need without a lot of hassle. Bad credit loans have recently been introduced and there are a few things that you need before you get started. Here is a great guide that will walk you through the process and get you the money that you need within a couple of days!
Getting a copy of your credit report is going to be the first thing that you need to take care of. If you have a credit score of about 500 or less, you are considered to have bad credit. A credit report can easily be found online for free! Simply look online and in a few minutes you could get the information that you need. Think of this as your second chance to build up a little bit of credit.
You should know how much money that you need in order to cover your extra expensive. There are various lenders that give out different amounts of money so know what you need ahead of time. Ensure that you do not apply for too much money. Getting the right amount will allow you to pay back that money with ease.
Take a close look at the lender that you decide to apply with. There are many predatory lenders that will stop at nothing to take your money and leave you with a lower credit score. Look around at legitimate companies that work with very high reviews. Once you feel you have found the perfect lender for you, you can get started.
You need to make sure that you make enough money each month in order to get a bad credit loan. Most lenders will ask that you prove that you make at least $1500 each month. This is simply to make sure that you will actually be able to pay back the loan within a certain period of time. For a credit check you need to provide your social security number and back account information as well.
The application process will start once you have gathered all of the necessary information. All you need is about 10-15 minutes and you should be done! Make sure that you check all of the information to ensure that it is correct. You do not want your money being deposited into the wrong bank account because you missed a number!
When you are ready to electronically sign the application and submit, take a few minutes to look it all over. People can get caught up in high interest rates and before they know it, they cannot pay back the loan. Make sure you know what you are signing before you submit.
When you run into a little bit of trouble it is nice to know that you can still get cash even with a low credit score. Bad credit loans are not uncommon and incredibly easy to get approved for. Once approved you will have cash in less than a day!

Low interest rates – including mortgages are sticking around for a while. We are being told there is money everywhere. There is plenty of welfare for corporations.
It sure sounds like cash is everywhere. So why are so many individuals, businesses, and corporate giants going broke? And American home foreclosures just keep rising.
The money rain has been torrential but the banks built a dam and the level is rising dangerously. To be sure, there are some leaks here and there but the watchkeepers are sleeping through the alarms. When it finally breaks the overflow is going to be inflation that rivals developing nations. And it is going to go over a Niagara Falls into an abyss of future obligation.
Though some money is starting to trickle out it still seems to dry up before it gets to producers, workers, and spenders. So capitalism as we like it is just plain anemic. Underemployed folks, like Tom Persinger who now makes 24k/yr as a nurses aid, have have pulled significant power from the economy. He used to make 60k/yr for GM before they got bailed out. He is relatively lucky though. Just under one out of ten Americans have no job at all so they cannot contribute earnings so that others have jobs. But the government is also manipulating statistics. Prior to the Clinton administration that 10% would have been closer to 21% unemployment which certainly echoes the Great Depression.
Every state government and most large cities are struggling to stay afloat. Temporary shutdowns, IOU’s, and tax hikes – which as you know is counter productive in a recession are rampant. Even the security of working for the government at any level except the federal, is no longer the cushy job it once was.
Nervous about the stock market? Just when it seems equities are stabilizing you and every other investor gets faked out when they dump again. Real estate, though housing markets seem to no longer be in free fall, is still causing anxiety and hand wringing.
Bond trader pros are saying that the Fed is printing money just to keep the interest rates low. This is a long-term policy that is guaranteed to keep the economy anemic if not on all out life support. Until recently the US could console itself in the knowledge that all the other major world players were doing the same thing. Some of them are showing signs of solid recovery now. The reason? They did not sign on to a stimulus policy, took their bumps and the markets are recovering.
So what do the bankers do? Well, it seems they have decided to keep the tax dollars given to crank up the economy and instead use them to buy other banks. Opportunity like that just does not come along very often for sure and when people don’t have jobs and assets are depreciating why not?
So the Fed is printing money, the government is madly borrowing, and all that cash is dammed up by the bankers. But they are going to eventually have to open the gates to avoid serious stagflation. When they do we will all be experience what, thus far, “developing” countries regularly see when their economies are grossly mismanaged – very high, if not hyper, inflation. Grab a paddle and try to stay above water.
