If you have ever found yourself wondering who the owner of a certain phone number was, here’s an easy way for you to find out. This method will let you find out exactly who owns any phone number.
This is a trick that come in handy in many different situations. You might have a phone number that keeps showing up on your call display that you want to look into or maybe you are wondering why a certain keeps showing up on your spouse’s cell phone.
With just a phone number, you can discover someone’s full name and address along with background information and other details. This trick is used all the time by detective agencies and law enforcement.
There are companies that have been setup with the sole purpose of building databases that have information on every phone number. These companies will pay for access to all phone records (including cell phones and unlisted number) and then put together directories that people can search through.
How do you run a search? You just have to type in the phone number you want information on at the company’s website. The details on who owns the number is then instantly displayed on your computer screen.
As you probably guessed, there is a fee for using this service, but thankfully it isn’t expensive. You can even find companies that only charge a one-time only fee for unlimited searches in their database. This is the best value since you are only billed once and can then run a search whenever you want.
There’s a link at the bottom of this article where you can try a free sample search to see how this works. This type of search is called a “reverse phone lookup”.
Now even though this type of service isn’t expensive, we did want to show you a way that you can potentially find the same information for free.
You can go to Google and type in the phone number that you are “investigating”. Use this format: “555-555-5555″ (including the quotation marks) and then hit search.
If the phone number has ever managed find it’s way on the internet, then Google will find it. If it has been published on a webpage, it’s very possible that the owner’s name and possibly other information will be listed. Look at your results and see if you can find anything.
This free method will work some of the times and is worth giving a shot. If you don’t find what you need all you have wasted is a couple of minutes.
This type of search is a great tool to have whenever you need to “investigate” who owns a particular phone number. It’s a quick and easy way for you to feel like a detective right from your own computer. Good luck!

Some days, you accidentally wander across the most fantastic websites. I did that recently, when I was clicking here and there for some cool technology blogs. I would visit a spot here, and then another there, and then I found Technology Scope, and knew I had a site worth bookmarking. I don’t usually hype on a web site, but this one is really worth giving a short shout out for.
Technology is really changing the world these days, from wi-fi hotspots to global enterprises run by people chillin with their friends, the big T has really had an effect on things. Not so long ago, the best portable music player was a Walkman CD player, and today’s tech types are sporting tiny flash drives loaded with hundreds of songs.
And have you seen some of the recent blogs about those ultra miniature computers? Full featured laptops that weigh a a fraction of what they did a couple of years ago, and using web-base applications, they aren’t losing any power of flexibility. I saw where they are now selling super low priced laptops for almost a song, as a majority of the work it would performed isn’t even done on the machine any more.
New technology has a large influence on the gadgetry we play with. Compare today’s basic cellphone with the clunky unreliable cousins of only five short years ago. And new advancements mean new possibilities, from flexible keyboards to ultra thin monitors. We all have a love for cool new gadgets, and there are some many new things coming out lately that it is good to find a site that keeps me up to date.
The auto has really been changed by technology. Voice activated radio tuners, GPS mapping devices, and alternative fuel sources are just a few of the many ways motor transport is being driven into the future, if you will pardon the pun. Our vehicles are so much smaller and safer today than they ever were before, and it looks as thought the influence of technology were only just getting off to a start.
Current events aren’t the most interesting thing in the world for me, but I know it’s a good idea to stay up to date, anyway. I like that a site will provide me only the most important news without wading through endless lines of meaningless nonsense. This really saves me from having to look at so many other web sites to find the kind of things that interest me.
The digital world is in full bloom. Companies are using a more and more mobile workforce, and the realm of digital computing is expanding into audio and video in amazing new ways. Even the cameras we use to capture our family gatherings have evolved from mechanical devices to digital tools. And the photography of an entire world is joining the virtual community.
For the technology lover in us all, this site offers a little of everything, as you’ve seen. There are videos, and news, and links to the coolest gadgets, the smallest computers, and the finest new forms of vehicle. Check out Technology Scope once, and you’re sure to return again.

I can get into the way that technology has changed entertainment, for one thing. When I was younger, I could never have imagined a television thin enough to hang from the wall of the flat, and today it is more difficult to get a tube-based television than the latest digital sets! And don’t look now, but your home video is going wireless, broadcast from a central box to any room in the house without the use of annoying cables.
And have you seen some of the recent blogs about those ultra miniature computers? Full featured laptops that weigh a a fraction of what they did a couple of years ago, and using web-base applications, they aren’t losing any power of flexibility. Technology has really made a mark on our cars recently, as well. From solar panels to human power, cars are being developed to use so many innovative new fuels that it is simply amazing. You would think any good technology site would keep up with how it affects vehicles, but you’d be wrong. Some places barely have anything to say at all.
And it’s always good to have a quick run-through of what’s happening in the news. When one software company decides to back a hardware company, it could have an impact on the products I use on a daily basis. Take, as an example, the OLED breakthrough that is going on now. Who would have thought there would be a light source that could be printed? That’s definitely a topic I am watching in the news.
Remember when “digital” was a special setting on a cassette recorder that you needed special tape for? And today it is the driving force behind our stereo, and television, and a growing amount of our daily lives. Wi-fi has made it possible to get connected nearly anywhere you go, and that has opened the doors to communication in ways that has never been dreamed of before. Staying on top of digital developments is a good idea for gadget lovers as well as potential investors.

Nowadays communication and navigation systems such as the Global Positioning System (GPS) are starting to show up in athletics and sports including jogging, biking, rowing, and skiing. With the Garmin Forerunner GPS watches, you can come to know your real speed and your average and top speeds as well as the area that you covered. This communication and navigation system manufacturing company has come up with its Forerunner GPS series of watches. You take your pick from the 50, 101, 201, 301, 205, 305, 405, and 705 models of the Garmin Forerunner offering of watches.
These models offer a few workaday as well as model-specific features. As you might assume, all of the GPS forerunner watches will offer you meticulous details of your location and all relevant statistics concerned with your rate of activity, but a few of them offer neat features like monitoring your heart rate, a computer info recording interface, a GPS transmitter, speed and pace targeting alarms, distance alerts, lap statistics recorder, auto time and distance splits, and a milometer.
The heart rate monitor offers you important data on your heart when you are running or exerting yourself. It is vital to keep an eye on one’s heart rate when one is working or trying to burn extra calories, because that will give you an idea of it your efficiency. Exercises are intended to be done at specific intensities and they can have an unwanted effect on the heart if you vary from the right intensity. The 301 model gives you a heart rate monitoring feature.
With the computer data recording facility, you are able to download your workout information on to your home computer and tinker with them using some compatible software. Both the 201 and 301 models offer the computer data-recording feature. The GPS transmitter is likely to be found as an expected feature of GPS watches in the Garmin line. It helps you see the latitude and the longitude of the place where you are standing. However, they make your watch feel a bit more weighty.
If you are a professional runner, you will want to be notified when your pace goes past or falls beneath a set limit. Your Garmin Forerunner GPS watch can make this happen. You can also make your watch notify you when you reach your goal distance. If you are concerned that having too many details is likely to distract you, just turn to the smoothing feature to get rid of any minute differences. The Lap recorder allows you to keep track of and store your details for each and every lap that you take as you run. The Autosplits function gives your watch the ability to take recordings measured in time and distance. The milometer tracks the distance that you’ve gone.

It’s easy to try out - you just have to pull up Google and type in the phone number into the search box. Make sure you use the following format: “555-555-5555″ (include the quotation marks) and then hit the search button.

Specialised jobs boards are proving invaluable when looking for Telecommunication Jobs. If you have applied for jobs at the mainstream sites like monster then you will be familiar with the impersonal nature of looking for a career in a massive website. We examine how a small telecoms jobs board is leading the way in recruitment solutions
Try looking for a telecoms job in Sweden on the big recruitment sites. The chances are you will never hear back from the company you applied to, not because of your qualifications are not up to scratch, but because the company will probably be swamped with CVs form everywhere. Telcojobs.eu was set up this year with the goal of providing a user friendly service for professionals looking for telecommunications jobs in Europe.
Martin Raftery lost his job at Vodafone in France four weeks ago due to the credit crunch. He was employed as a project manager and had unsuccessfully used all of the mainstream jobs boards in his quest for a new telecoms career.
He then found a more specialised recruitment website called Telcojobs.eu that catered for his needs.
After three weeks he was placed in his ideal job as a telecommunications engineer in Ireland. “I did not feel that the bigger jobs boards were listening to me” said Derrick.
The more specialised jobs boards have come of age and now present a real challenge to the mainstream boards. Eamonn Murray, who runs a telecoms job board believes that personal service trumps CV database size every time.
“More and more companies are coming to us looking for targeted CVs” says Eamonn. “They have had enough of bulk CVs in their inbox. A company wants a few well targeted CVs and we provide quality telecom jobs CV to the industry”.
There has been a massive increase in niche jobs boards over the previous 18 months which is great news for job seekers.
The established job sites have recognised this but don’t know how to deal with this threat to their business. Some have added live chat modules to their sites but the level of support is still inadequate.
Eamonn Murray believes that Telcojobs will never have this problem as the niche (telecoms jobs) and the market size is limited so the customer care will always be there.

Thanks to the technology available nowadays, you can instantly discover the full name, address and even background information about anyone by having only their phone number. This is done by using a “reverse cell phone search” - let’s take a closer look at how this is done.
You usually have to pay for this type of service, but there is a free way to find out the same information. Let’s cut right to the chase and find out how this is done.
Grab the phone number that you are “investigating” and fire up your computer. Go to Google and type in the phone number in this format: “555-555-5555″ (include the quotation marks). Press the search button and wait for your results to come up.
People will place their phone number online for many different reasons - they could be filling out a classified ad or ‘profile’ page. If this particular phone number has ever been published online, Google will find it for you.
Take a look at your search results and see if you were left with an exact match. If so, open up the page and see what information is available about the number. Obviously we are hoping to see at least the name of who owns the phone - if we can find out even more detailed information than even better.
This free reverse cell phone search technique will often work. Even though the paid services aren’t expensive, you may as well give this a shot to see if you can save a couple of bucks. If it doesn’t you can always go to a paid service afterwards.
There are companies that specialize in maintaining databases of owner information on all phone numbers. They pay for access to this information and then charge a small fee to goverment agencies, law enforcement departments or detective agencies that wish to run a search on a phone number. Thankfully, they now also allow the general public to use their services
Conducting a reverse cell phone search isn’t expensive and is extremely easy to do. You type in the phone number (everything is done online at the company’s website), hit the search button and the owner’s information will be shown on your computer screen instantly. You will see their name and address along with other background information.
There’s a link at the bottom of this article you can use to try a free sample search. It’s impressive to see how much information you can find out about someone with nothing but their phone number.
If you do choose to use this type of service, it is recommended to find a company that only charges a ‘one-time’ fee for unlimited searches. This way you are only billed the one time and can conduct as many searches as you want, whenever you want.
There’s a lot of reasons why you might need to use this type of service. Perhaps you are getting prank calls from a certain number and want to find out who is calling, or you want to know why a particular phone number keeps showing up on your spouse’s cell phone. Whatever the reason, it’s nice to know you can use a reverse cell phone search whenever you might need it. All the best!

OK so VOIP communications have been gaining ground over conventional telecoms - here are some of the reasons why:
1. Low Cost Landline Calls - VOIP call carriers offer low call rates or free national calls.
2. Low Mobile Rates - Using VOIP PBX with GSM gateways.
3. Low Cost International Calls - as most of the distance of the call will be carried via the web.
4. Reduced Line Rentals - many VOIP call carriers offer unlimited outbound trunks which could cut your line rental fees.
5. Free Calls to Home Workers & Branch Offices - assuming of course you have switched these users to VOIP.
6. Longer Call Recording - no seperate PC required & many years of call recording is possible.
7. Keep Your Number - by porting geographic numbers to voip you can move your business anywhere without changing numbers.
8. Automatic Call Diversion - your calls will be diverted automatically upon any failure of service.
9. Short Contracts - many ITSPs have very short contracts without tie-ins.
10. Improved Control - change or backup your telecoms remotely.
If VOIP is correctly implemented in your business then you shouldn’t be able to tell the difference between regular calls & VOIP calls - see voip call quality for more information It is not always plain sailing as telecoms companies drag their heels on number porting & broadband connection quality varies with location. As with all telecom installations - success or failure is usually down to initial provisioning and the experience or incompetence of your installer - allways get references
