Sharm el Skeikh, or just Sharm, is one of the hottest travel destinations in the Arab world, and for good reason. It’s quickly being recognized as one of the finest diving spots in the world, and the variety of activities available to the visitor is mind boggling.
Forty years ago, Sharm Egypt wasn’t much more than a small fishing village. But during Israel’s occupation, the land near Sharm’s center began to be developed and it gradually transformed into a tourist destination. It now contains many of the amenities that you would expect to find in a travel destination, except that it has also been able to maintain its historic roots.
Sharm and nearby Hurghada are located on the Red Sea coast, and just offshore there is a wide spectrum of aquatic life and beautiful coral, including sharks and dolphins, if that interests you! Sharm caters to scuba divers of all levels, so even if you’re new to the activity, you’ll find a reputable dive operator who will take you out.
If scuba diving is not for you, there are plenty of other beach activities that you can participate in. Sharm and Hurghada beaches have beautiful white sand and the water is crystal clear. Bad pictures are almost impossible to take here!
While some areas in Egypt are known more for their historic value, Sharm has a reputation as more of a beach or resort destination. Here you’ll find hotels in all price ranges, including some world-class properties, and you’ll also find an active nightlife, which is not especially common in Egypt. But do expect to pay a hefty price for alcoholic beverages, even in this more liberal area.
Egypt entertains over 5 million travelers per year, and in recent years, over one quarter of them have visited Sharm. The locals are very friendly and accommodating with travelers, but there are still some taboo customs that you should be aware of if you’re planning a holiday. To get the most out of your vacation, look into Egypt packages, which will help you plan your travel.
Sharm’s reputation was sullied somewhat in 1995 when a (suspected) group of radical Egyptians bombed several areas, taking aim square at the thriving tourist industry of Sharm. But it’s also important to note that many Egyptians died trying to stop those terrorists, and for the most part, Sharm is a very safe city to travel in.
Sharm is a beautiful city in an amazingly historical city. If you plan a holiday to Sharm, whether on its on or as part of one of the available Egypt packages, you will not be disappointed, and you will leave with some fantastic memories (and hopefully photographs) that will last a lifetime.

A Bit of History
Across the sands of time, the city of Malaga has gathered a rich history. A visit to this historical center would never be complete without exploring the historical artifacts in the center and the surrounding region. Besides the Costa del Sol, a Malaga city overview shows ample activities that will keep you occupied, there is also much more to see all along the. Vacationers won’t be dissatisfied with the museums, shopping, and the nightlife. Tourists have always been happy with any of the hotels or other accommodations. Murcia is truly a holidaymaker’s paradise.
The Moors once occupied Malaga city. However, it grew into one of the Iberian Peninsula’s trade centers. So, in Spain they built a fortress for protection and defense. They still stand as monuments of the historical triumph over the invasion after Isabella and Ferdinand conquered the area in 1487. The Moors were not the only ones occupying the city. The Romans, Greeks and Phoenicians, occupied this Spanish city in succession, and there is ample evidence of this in some of the oldest city’s charming.
Must-See Sights
As in all of Europe, churches and cathedrals are the major holidaymaker’s points of interest. Malaga will not disappoint you. Their Cathedral built between 1528 and 1782 was originally supposed to have been finished with two towers, but the church ran out of money and they settled on finishing construction with only one tower. It has been constructed over top of what was once a mosque. The city’s castle called, Castillo de Gibralfaro that in the early 1300s served as a lighthouse is renowned for the palace a siege that occurred when Ferdinand and Isabella continued their struggle against the invaders. The siege lasted three months. There is another fortress in Malaga. It is the well-known landmark, Alcazba.
Picasso is Malaga’s favored son. There is a museum visited by art lovers and artist worldwide that pays tribute to Picasso’s life. Nearby is an avenue Calle Marques de Larios. This is where you can bargain hunt for your souvenirs from Malaga. Oh! Be certain to bring long plenty of money though because while you will be bargain hunting Calle Marques de Larios is were only the most exclusive boutiques reside. After you’ve spent all your money, you can visit the Plaza de la Constitution where there are small side alleys that provide reasonably priced souvenirs. Most holidaymakers enjoy the bars and the music.
Tourists and locals in Malaga city like the nightlife. Several bars offer all night flamenco, jazz, and indigenous people watching. To show how diverse the nightlife is there is an Irish tavern is located along Calle Luis del Velazquez. Its name is O’Neills Irish Pub. And, there’s musical theatre to be enjoyed in Malaga at the Miguel Cervantes Municipal Theatre, which features well-known headliners.
Visitors to Malaga city arrive by air through the Malaga airport that is only 8 km away. The Malaga airport is busy and supports travelers heading for the Costa del Sol. Airplanes land at the airport daily, from more than 60 major cities across the world. There are main highways linking most cities in the region. From the airport, you can travel to your bedroom destination by bus or car from the airport. Malaga city has something for everyone.

Mississippi tourism can cover a wide range of things to see, from the Ghosts and Legends tour in Columbus to the “Candlelight Ghost Tour during Halloween Week in Vicksburg. Or you can go over to Noxubee County and visit the jail that was erected in 1907 and has operative gallows. Of course, there are things that are far less frightening to see in Mississippi such as the beautiful Magnolias mansion in Aberdeen with its antebellum architecture, exquisite mahogany staircase and beautiful furnishing. This home was built in 1850 and offers daily tours.
Another site you may enjoy while on your Mississippi tour is the Tom Bevill Visitors Center and Museum which is a replica of an 1830 - 1860 Greek revival antebellum plantation mansion built on the Tombrigbee River. This museum is located in Pickensville and would love to have you tour it and learn about the life on the river.
Your Mississippi tour can have some noise, dirt and fun at the Columbus Speedway just 7 miles east of Columbus. The 3/10 mile, high banked, clay oval track will offer you the opportunity to see some great racing and, of course, eat a hot dog or two. What can be better than a little hot dog, noise and dirt all mixed together?
Black History Month in Columbus shows off the African-American Heritage with driving tours from the different locations in town. There is a celebration downtown on the weekend with Friday being a night of music, food and stories on Catfish Alley. The driving tours are held at 9, and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. On Saturdays the tour is free.
Magnolia is a small community that you will want to make sure you visit while on your Mississippi tourism vacation. This small town is home to three of Mississippi’s premier Queen Anne residences and an antebellum Greek Revival cottage as part of the Southtown Historic District. The Myrtle Street District is a typical neighborhood from the turn of the century and will transport you back in time by just looking at the simplicity of this area. Both of these districts are on the National Historic Register.
The town of Magnolia can be reached by Interstate 55, north or south, at exit 10, from the east on Highway 48 from Hattiesburg, Ms., and from the west on Highway 24 from Liberty, Ms.

While timeshare owners are looking for financial relief during these tough economic times, they need to prepare for special assessment fees courtesy of timeshare developers. The current economic climate has created a troubling trickle-down effect. With timeshare corporations no longer able to easily access credit, they are eyeing another source of revenue — all their timeshare owners.
In many cases, owners sign contracts that allow their home resorts to charge them special assessment fees when warranted. The size of the fees are determined by the resorts and can be rather arbitrary. Some owners are unaware of these policies.
Recently, timeshare owners have opened up their mailboxes to find bills ranging from $500 upwards of $3,000. It’s a crushing blow to those who may have lost jobs, experienced cuts in pay and/or work hours, and seen their stock portfolios plummet in value. Owners are truly understanding where they fit in the financial pecking order of the timeshare industry.
You would think that the millions in upfront cost and annual maintenance fees would be able to keep afloat all timeshare resorts. Unfortunately, many corporations leverage what they have to build more timeshare units in different locales. This strategy works well in good economic times but tragically multiplies the draining effect when credit is scarce and when revenue decreases.
But owners should not think about NOT paying those timeshare bills. Through decades of legal precedence, timeshare companies can and do impose stiff penalties for non-compliance. These include high interest rates on principal owed, collecting debt through employers, and placing liens on assets like homes, bank accounts, etc.
Even in decent economic times, solutions are few. Desperate resorts have rented units far below annual maintenance fees, and timeshare resales have always been notoriously difficult. Now, resales are next to impossible. Who has the money to buy? And, who wants to pay a large special assessment bill? No one.

Here is a brief description of the three types, see where you fit in… Be Honest!
Type 1) Takes Action, Knows What They Want From Life. Is Successful and realizes that money is a good thing that can help them to help themselves and others to achieve their dreams. Success being the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.Doesn’t have time to watch TV and go to the pub-They have better things to do…..!
Type 2) Moans about things they don’t like without taking any action because they’re too scared! Doesn’t admit the fact that they want more from life, they think success comes to a ‘lucky few’ The harder they worked the luckier they got! Spends Most Of Their Time working to survive not thrive! And watching TV and talking about what they don’t like so they can attract more of it! They don’t know about the law of attraction!

Keep Your Baby Safe with Stroller Safety Tips
Strollers have been used for decades due to the fact that they offer convenience to parents on the move. As with many products on the market that are designed for infants and toddlers, many safety alerts and red flags have been raised.
While it is unfortunate to hear of a baby and/or toddler to be subjected to strollers that may cause injury, and potential death, this information has been used to compile data that will allow parents to know and understand what safety enhancements are most important when selecting baby strollers.
When purchasing a unit for your child and/or children, it is absolutely essential that you take the time to determine if the product is safe. Here, you will be provided with information regarding the dangers that are associated with these devices, as well as some basic safety features that are important to the health and life of your child.
Dangers Associated With Stroller Use
According to Pediatric Emergency Care, there were a number of stroller related injuries responded to in the year of 2004 to the year of 2007 by the 911 Response Team in just one community. The statistics of this particular study indicated the following:
The study was conducted for approximately three and a half years. During this time, 241 different incidents occurred that were specific to those involving shopping carts and strollers. The amount of stroller related injuries came to a number of 121.
The ages of the children that were involved in the stroller related injuries averaged between 0 months and 6 months of age.
Falls resulted in a percentage of 47.5% of all the cases, the largest number of the injuries reported.
59% of the injuries that were connected to stroller related injuries were attributed to the head area.
At least 18% of the children monitored also sustained an injury directly related to the facial area.
At least 77% of the children evaluated were transported to the local emergency treatment center by the use of an ambulance.
While there were no deaths, it is estimated that a little over 8% of all the children involved were hospitalized for further treatment and evaluation of their injuries.
Based on the information obtained from this study, medical professionals determined that education should be an emphasis when it comes to parents who implement the use of baby strollers. It is believed that if parents are aware of the steps to keep their children safe in strollers, there will be less likelihood that injury and even death may occur while using this type of device.
Safety Measures for Stroller Use
The following details some of the safety measures for stroller use. If you have purchased a stroller, or you are considering purchasing a stroller, it is important that you know and understand the basic safety measures that you can take in this situation. Below are some effective strategies that have been found to enhance the safe use of strollers.
1. Strollers that are narrow tend to have the most complications when it comes to leaning and tipping over. As a parent, it is essential to ensure that you purchase strollers that have a base that is actually relatively wide. This way, there is a reduced opportunity for tipping and accidental falls.
2. It is often tempting for an adult to hang things on the stroller handles, such as purses and diaper bags. It is important to understand though, that by doing so you are providing the possibility of causing a stroller to begin tipping over, and this can result in injury.
3. It will add security to the stroller for the child when you use the seatbelt attached to the stroller at all times.
4. Take the time to use the device that locks the stroller into place every single time that you are using the stroller. It is equally important to use the wheel locking devices when the stroller is not in movement.
5. Since it is when a child is left unattended that the most injuries occur, be careful to never leave the baby stroller unattended.
6. Thoroughly check the stroller before and after each use to ensure that the parts are all secure - especially the seat area and the wheel area. If you find that any parts are loose, do not place your child in the unit prior to fixing these components; or purchase a new unit altogether.
7. Product recalls are issued on a regular basis due to safety issues, hence is is wise to always evaluate the product that you have to compare it to the product recalls. If you find that your stroller is listed, simply discard it or follow the appropriate instructions on the recall list.
Conclusion
It is imperative to ensure that you learn as much as you can regarding what can happen, and how to prevent these situations from occurring. If you do this, it is almost a guarantee that your child and/or children will remain safe as both parent and child enjoy the use of these convenient forms of transport.

An Egypt holiday is one of the most memorable and rewarding holidays that you can possibly take due to the wide range of activities, historic value, sites, and travel options available.
When most people think of Egypt, they picture monuments, pyramids, and the desert. But there is much more to Egypt than that, and each location has its own offering from the others. For example, Alexandria and Luxor are well-known for their historic value, Hurghada and Sharm are well-known for their beaches, resorts, and watersports, Cairo is known for its culture, and so on.
You will also find that travel to Egypt is modestly priced, with accommodations, airfare, and entertainment being very reasonable considering its popularity. Of course, that does not take into account the price of adult beverages, which can be very expensive.
Unfortunately, due to the wide range of activities, if you want to participate in a variety, e.g. exploring the beaches of Sharm Egypt, then on to Alexandria or a Nile River cruise with a horseback ride or safari along the way, your travel plans become much more difficult. Luckily there are a good number of qualified travel guides who can walk you through numerous plans, from group tours to fully escorted Egypt packages.
For do-it-yourselfers like me, there are some excellent travel guides that will give you the inside scoop on destinations, customs, and prices, which will all be immensely helpful in planning your trip. But this is not a valid approach for everyone, because we all have different tolerance levels for chaos!
One of the aspects of Egypt that struck me even more than the surroundings was the people, who are largely hospitable, friendly, and helpful. Ask a local a question, and you’re likely to draw a crowd of people with suggestions on the best answer!
A popular fear when traveling to Africa or the Middle East is one of safety, but Egypt is one of the safer destinations you can visit. Egypt is largely free from violent crime, though bombings perpetrated by local radicals have occurred. Pick pocketing is not uncommon, but security is placed in most public places to discourage this from happening.
Also be sure to bring back some souvenirs for your friends and family. Some items native to the region that are available for reasonable purchase include Egypt’s well-known dates, spices, crafts, pottery, and colorful fabrics.
Egypt packages are a great approach to what will be one of the most memorable holidays during your lifetime, almost assuredly. Prepare fully, plan in advance, and enjoy one of the most beautiful regions in the world, along with one of the original seven wonders.

Germany is a land of extremes. In this ancient land, you’ll find geographic wonders ranging from the sand dunes of the North Friesian Islands to the towering Alps to idyllic pastoral land dotted with enchanting villages. You can visit castles, sample some of the world’s best beer and wine, explore historic sites and so much more.
Most visitors to Germany spend at least a few days in Bavaria and its main city of Munich and with good reason. Bavaria, with its fairy tale castle of Neuschwanstein, picturesque villages and beer gardens, museums and fine shopping, offers plenty to do and see, and the scenery is enchanting. Other fun excursions include a trip through the Rhone and Mosel wine regions, which include famous cities such as Frankfurt, as well as castles and wineries. Another choice might be to explore eastern and central Germany, with a stop in Berlin.
On her popular travel website, writer Karen Brown suggests several interesting itineraries for travelers to Germany. She offers detailed descriptions of various regions, as well as driving directions and suggested pacing. In addition to this helpful information, her readers also have voted and chosen the following inns and hotels as Germany’s best lodging experiences:
Built in 1730, the Hotel Bulow Residenz in Dresden is a charming Baroque relic painted a sunny shade of yellow. Hotel Bulow is across the river from the city center, so it offers close access to Dresden’s many attractions, but is located in a quiet, peaceful setting. Elegant guest rooms range from cozier single rooms to more spacious suites decorated with antiques. Breakfasts are often served in a vine-covered courtyard. The hotel has a formal restaurant as well as an intimate piano bar in the wine cellar. The hotel was chosen by Karen Brown readers as Germany’s “Most Romantic” lodging.
The Romantik Hotel Markusturm was chosen as the winner of the Karen Brown Readers’ Choice Award for the “Warmest Welcome” in Germany. Located in Rothenberg, a fanciful medieval town surrounded by turrets, ramparts and walls, the hotel is just as charming as its surroundings. Hosts Lilo and Stephan Berger will make you feel right at home and pamper guests with inviting individually decorated guest rooms and plenty of hearty cuisine, complimented by Stephan’s signature homemade beer.
The Gasthaus Die Krone in the Black Forest town of Staufen is a delight. This family-run hotel is located in a pedestrian-only area, so it enjoys a quiet and peaceful spot. The exterior of the building is charming with shuttered windows, window boxes bursting with color and a mural depicting the Revolution of 1848. Guest rooms are simple and pleasing with light pine furnishings and beds topped with white duvets and fluffy pillows. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and in addition to the guest rooms, there is a restaurant where dinner is served nightly. The hotel won the Karen Brown Readers’ Choice Award for “Greatest Value” in Germany.
To enjoy what Karen Brown readers have chosen as Germany’s top “Splendid Splurge,” book a stay at the Hotel Benen-Diken-Hof. Located on the sand-dune island of Sylt at the northern tip of Germany, the hotel’s friendly hosts offer a little bit of everything. Spa services, a sauna and swimming pool are available for guests to enjoy. For families, there is a children’s program, many acres in which to run about in and play, and even babysitting for parents who want to enjoy a nice dinner for two. Golfing and fishing are among the possibilities for outdoor enthusiasts. The hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast until the early afternoon, so guests can sleep in and just relax.

Barcelona is the capital of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia in Spain, on the southeastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. The city is between the mouths of the Llobregat and Besos rivers. The incredible natural landscape of Barcelona is only enhanced by the Serra de Collserola mountain ridge on its western side. It is the second most populated area in Spain and has 4.5 kilometers, or almost 3 miles of beaches.
Barcelona’s 2000 year history has included influences from many cultures, and there are many places to see the representative Gothic and Moorish representatives. The architecture in Barcelona
has been particularly influenced by its native son, Antoni Gaudi. Gaudi is responsible for much of the brilliant and eclectic tile work seen throughout the city and in many of Barcelona’s most impressive buildings. Though Gaudi died many years ago, there is a project he began that is still going strong today, the unfinished church the Sagrada Familia.
There are many arches with triumphant themes welcoming tourists into many cities all over the world. The Arc de Triomf located in Barcelona, Spain, was created for the Universal Exposition in 1888 at the Parc de la Ciutadella. The arch was erected to stand as the entrance to the park for the event and has been a well-loved monument for the last 120 years.
The Arc de Triomf was created in the mundejar style by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas in a nod to the country’s Moorish foundations. The arch has a frieze on its front side that was created by Josep Reynes. It is a depiction of the city of Barcelona greeting visitors, with the words “Barcelona rep les nacions” which translated from Catalan to English reads, “Barcelona welcomes the nations.” The back has a portrayal of an awards ceremony named “Recompense” created by Josep Llimona.
Each of the other provinces in the country of Spain is depicted on either side of the crown of the arch. The top of the arch has the coat of arms of Barcelona carved in to the stone. Two lions are depicted on either side of the shield. Twelve statues of females representing different facets of the city of Barcelona also adorn the arch. This is a deviation in the Moorish theme, in that Islamic artistic styles do not include representations of animals or people. The Moorish style is evident in the four caps reminiscent of minarets on the top of a mosque.
The Arc de Triomf has its own metro stop listed as Arc de Triomf, and is located in between the Passeig Llujis Companys, and the Passeig de Sant Joan
